RN - Operating Room

Job Details:

* Work in an operating room environment with 11 ORs and 1 endoscopy suite
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, and 11 techs; night shift includes 1 nurse and 1 tech
* Rotating weekend call schedule required
* No floating required
* Perform procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, trauma, neurosurgery, spine, ENT, and bariatrics
* Operate OR equipment including multiple types of orthopedic beds and 4 robotic systems
* Use MEDITECH electronic medical records system
* Scrubs provided by facility
* RN and CST credentials required; BSN and CNOR preferred
* Required certification: BLS
* High energy and motivated personality preferred

Facility:

This medical center operates a comprehensive operating room department featuring 11 ORs and a dedicated endoscopy suite, supported by a team of 45 staff members. The facility is equipped with advanced surgical technology including multiple types of orthopedic beds and four robotic systems, enabling a wide range of complex surgical procedures. The department maintains a 1:1 patient ratio and utilizes MEDITECH for electronic medical records management.
