Opportunity:

MRI Technologist

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
* May also work shifts from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
* May work alone at times without constant supervision
* Perform MRI procedures according to protocols established by radiologists for both adult and pediatric patients
* Apply prescribed and appropriate MRI scanning techniques for diagnosis using independent judgment
* Prepare and screen patients and objects entering the magnet room for magnet safety
* Assume responsibility for designated area and procedures performed
* Operate equipment including Philips Ingenia 1.5, Med Rad Spectris Solaris Injector, Omnicell, EPIC, and FUJI PACS
* Chart using EPIC system
* No floating to other units or departments
* No on-call responsibilities
* Single MRI room unit
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (MR)
* Dress code: Black scrubs
* BSN not required

This acute care facility operates as a Level 2 Trauma Center, providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services including MRI procedures for both adult and pediatric patients. The radiology department follows established protocols under radiologist oversight while maintaining efficient and safe imaging operations.
