Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts
* Weekend coverage required
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Minimum 2 years of Level 3 and Level 4 NICU experience required
* PICU experience required
* Pediatric experience preferred
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, PALS, NRP
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Must be willing and able to float to PICU and Pediatric Acute Care units and other facilities as needed
* Open bay unit
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, and pediatrics
* Required skills include but are not limited to: administration of blood and blood products, arterial line management, bubble CPAP, central line blood draw, central line/implanted line care, developmental care, feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), high frequency ventilation, IV vasopressors, management of chest tubes, neonatal abstinence syndrome, neonatal dosage calculations, neonatal care for patients under 34 weeks and 29-34 weeks, nitric oxide, oxygen delivery systems, phototherapy, phlebotomy, respiratory distress syndrome, seizure disorders, sepsis work up, therapeutic hypothermia, thermoregulation, tracheostomy care/management, UAC, UVC, Vapotherm, and ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
