Opportunity:

Medical Assistant

Job Details:

* 5x8 shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
* No weekend requirements
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* Position is primarily responsible for PSR/Front End duties and will cover MA/LVN breaks
* Minimum 3 years of experience required with at least 2 years in an outpatient setting
* Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program required
* Required certification: BLS (AHA or ARC only)
* Education: High School Diploma or GED required
* Experience in Urology or Women's Health required
* Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture required
* Experience with patient check-in, insurance verification, and referrals required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Knowledge of urological procedures such as cystoscopy and urodynamics
* Experience assisting with in-office procedures including urinary catheter placement, cystoscopies, and removing bandages or stitches
* Knowledge of sterile techniques to prepare surgical sites and assist with drapes
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Phlebotomy interdisciplinary support available

This outpatient medical facility specializes in urology and women's health services, offering a comprehensive range of in-office procedures and diagnostic services. The facility provides a collaborative care environment with interdisciplinary support including phlebotomy, and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system.
