Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2603.76

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* 13-week contract with block scheduling
* 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts
* Every other weekend required with 3 weekend shifts per contract
* Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays
* Float required based on staffing and unit needs, primarily within ICU only
* Patient ratio of 1:2-3 for critical care; 1:4-6+ if floated
* Unit beds: 15 MICU, 12 SICU, 13 CCU
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Patient mix includes vents, post surgical, cardiac post cath, and neuro/stroke post TNK
* PCTs/CNAs available on unit for RN support
* Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
* Epic charting system experience required
* Minimum 1.5 years of acute care experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Scrub color: Navy blue
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Stroke CEUs
* Active NJ or Compact license required
* Required skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, blood product administration, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, CVVHD/CRRT, and more

This healthcare facility operates multiple intensive care units including a medical ICU, surgical ICU, and cardiac care unit, providing comprehensive critical care services to adult and geriatric populations. The facility offers robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy to ensure high-quality patient care. Advanced equipment such as CVVHD is available on the unit to support complex critical care needs.
