Opportunity:

Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment
* 5x8 day shift schedule
* Approximately 1-2 weekend shifts required per month
* No on-call requirements
* Cover both inpatient and outpatient pediatric patients
* Patient age groups include infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
* Must have inpatient experience and pediatric experience
* At least 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience
* Locals not accepted - candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Parking is free
* Required certifications: BLS, Alaska PT License
* Required skills include: Acute Care, Adaptive Equipment, AROM/AAROM/PROM, Assessment, Cerebral Palsy, Concussion, Crutches, Developmental Delays, Discharge Planning, Early Intervention Programs, Evaluation, Gait Training, Individualized Programs, Milestone Assessment, Orthotics, Outpatient Clinic, Pain Assessment, Patient and Family Education, Pediatrics, PICU, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Safety and Injury Prevention, Scoliosis, Sensory Response, Spina Bifida, Spinal Cord Injury, Strength Testing, TENS, Torticollis, Traumatic Brain Injury, Ultrasound, and Wheelchair Assessment
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submittal
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
