Opportunity:

MRI Technologist

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts with call 1 night per week and every 3-4 weekends
* Schedule consists of 3 12-hour shifts plus call requirements
* Weekend and holiday requirements apply
* Call or standby requirement included
* Perform general MRI studies including head, neck, abdomen, and extremity imaging (no cardiac)
* Average of 14 scans/studies per day
* Work with GE scanner equipment in a single-room MRI department
* Use EPIC as the charting and EMR system
* Use PACS for picture archiving and communication
* Start IVs as required for applicable studies
* No floating or coverage of other areas required
* Radiologist available in-house (not overnight)
* Wear professional scrub colors (any professional colors accepted, scrubs not provided)
* Department-specific orientation provided
* Acute care setting
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (MR)
* Must provide own radiation badge

Facility:

This acute care facility houses a dedicated Radiology MRI department equipped with GE imaging technology. The department supports a full range of general MRI studies and operates with an in-house radiologist during daytime hours. The facility utilizes EPIC for both charting and EMR needs, and maintains a professional environment with a focus on quality diagnostic imaging services.
