Open Position: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Rotating days Monday through Friday with rotating weekend call from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday
* On-call schedule includes 1 night per week from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and rotating weekends
* Weekend rotation once per month
* No floating requirement
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology required
* First-time travelers will not be considered
* Perform cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and interventional radiology cases including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy tubes
* Administer sedation and manage recovery of sedation patients
* Perform arterial access recovery
* Work with inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient populations
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment required
* RN supervisor on the floor will oversee the traveler
* Charting systems include Cerner and Pyxis
* Procedural scrubs provided
* Free parking available
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Orientation period dependent on experience
* Manager interviews required

Facility:

This facility is a 70-licensed-bed healthcare organization featuring a 5-bay and 1 procedure room Cath Lab unit. The facility supports a multidisciplinary team environment and provides care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients. The unit is overseen by an on-site RN supervisor who provides guidance and support to traveling staff.
