Job Details:

* Straight night shifts with every other weekend and holiday required
* Acute care setting with patient ratios of 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights
* May float to alike Medical Surgical and Telemetry units within the facility
* Utilize the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide individualized nursing care
* Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues including physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
* Provide care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
* Responsible for planning and coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions
* Coordinate and manage care for patients including those with complex needs
* Perform age-related patient assessments and nursing interventions
* Promote a safe environment for patients, families, staff, residents, and visitors
* Charting system: EPIC
* Dress code: Navy Blue scrubs
* Trauma Level 1 facility
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
