Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Minimum 3 years of PACU experience required
* Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience required
* Charge nurse experience required
* Active California RN license required - pending licenses not accepted
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* No weekends, no floating, and no on-call requirements
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* Clinical cases include approximately 10 trigger finger procedures, pain management, or minor orthopedic procedures performed under local anesthesia
* Patient population: adults only
* Patient ratio: 1:1 during day shifts
* Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 6 beds available
* Support services include interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy
* Special equipment includes GE patient monitor, glucometer, bladder scanner, and 12-lead EKG
* ASC startup and operational setup responsibilities required
* AAAHC survey preparation and accreditation readiness required
* Regulatory compliance and policy/procedure development required
* Assist the Director of Nursing with quality program development and quality binders
* Strong administrative and project management skills required
* Must be able to work independently and drive projects to completion
* Editing forms, documents, and policies as needed
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
* Infection control and minor life safety knowledge required
* Flu vaccine required with no exemptions or declinations accepted

Facility:

This ambulatory surgery center provides specialized outpatient surgical services with a focus on orthopedic procedures, total joint procedures, pain management, and spine procedures. The facility is in the startup and operational setup phase, working toward AAAHC accreditation and building out its quality programs. The center offers a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support and is equipped with modern medical technology to support safe, high-quality patient care.
