Opportunity:
MRI Technologist
Job Details:
* 3rd shift nights, Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM
* 4x10 shifts may include weekend days
* Work in a 2-room MRI department within an acute care, Level 2 Trauma facility
* No floating to other units or departments
* An aide will be present for all working hours
* Call may be assigned depending on staffing and department needs, though not regularly assigned
* Orientation period of 2 to 4 weeks on day shift with possible back-up call until comfortable transitioning to 3rd shift
* Perform neuro with perfusion, MSK, abdomen, critical care, pediatric (including some NICU), and general anesthesia patient imaging
* Utilize EPIC, PACS, Siemens Skyra 3.0T, Siemens Altea 1.5T, and temporary mobile Siemens Aera 1.5T equipment
* Computerized charting via EPIC system
* Minimum one year of experience in a clinical diagnostic hospital setting preferred
* Related Bachelor's or Associate's degree required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT MRI certification
* Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) MRI license required
* Dress code: Medical scrubs that are neat, clean, and wrinkle-free; closed-toe shoes required; no spandex, leggings, denim, tank tops, bare-midriff tops, low-cut tops, miniskirts, shorts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, or cargo pants (scrub pants with cargo pockets are acceptable)
