Opportunity:

Travel - Certified Surg Tech

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, three times per week
* 13-week assignment length
* Rotate weekend call every four weeks, with call utilized to fill evening and night staffing holes Monday through Thursday, evenly distributed among the team
* Typical call shifts are 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours
* Every attempt is made to not schedule more than 60 combined hours of work and call in a week
* Perform scrub tech duties across a wide range of surgical specialties including:
* Burn surgery: high acuity patients, wound debridement, skin grafting, and dressing changes
* Dental: restoration and oral maxillofacial procedures
* ENT: tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy through parathyroidectomy and cochlear implants
* Gastroenterology: EGD and colonoscopy
* General surgery: full range of procedures
* Gynecology: ablations, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomies
* Neurosurgery: stealth navigation, spinal fusions, discectomy, and craniotomy
* Open heart surgery: CABG, fempop, and fistulas
* Ophthalmology: vitrectomy, cataracts, and corneal transplants
* Orthopedics: trauma, total joints, and sports medicine
* Plastics: breast augmentation and reconstruction
* Psychiatry: electroconvulsive therapy
* Robotics: gynecology, general, and urology
* Trauma: damage control resuscitative surgery, neuro, ortho, and general
* Urology: cystoscopy, TURB, TURP, and stents

The operating room team is collaborative and structured to support surgical technologists in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse and complex procedures.
