Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

Job Details:

* Rotating shifts required with every other weekend and holiday coverage
* Acute care setting
* Trauma Level 1 facility
* Patient ratios typically 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights
* May float to alike Med Surg and Telemetry units within the facility
* Utilize nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide individualized patient care
* Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues including physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate care
* Coordinate and manage care for patients including those with complex needs
* Perform age-related patient assessments and nursing interventions
* Responsible for patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions
* Promote a safe environment for patients, families, staff, residents, and visitors
* Effectively delegate and supervise based on state practice act
* Dress code: Navy Blue scrubs
* Charting system: EPIC
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
