Job Details:

* 13-week assignment
* 5x8 variable shift schedule
* 72 guaranteed hours per 2-week period
* May be called off for 1 eight-hour shift per 2-week period
* Weekend rotation required
* No on-call required
* Block scheduling available
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Skills required: Orthopedics, Neurology, and Robotics
* Additional skills include: acute hospital OR, cleaning equipment, high-level disinfection, use of washers/sterilizers, case cart, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/tray assembly, endoscope and scope/probe reprocessing, loaner trays, trauma, and instructions for use documentation
* Preferred certifications: CBSPD, CSPDT, IAHCSMM/HSPA, or NBSTSA
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Free parking available
* Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submittal
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

With 407 staffed beds, the facility offers a high level of care across a broad range of specialties and is equipped with modern technology and resources to support its clinical teams. The sterile processing department supports a wide variety of surgical services including orthopedic, neurological, and robotic procedures.
