Opportunity:

RN - MED SURG/TELE 5C (612)

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Telemetry unit with no call required
* 4 weekend shifts per schedule
* Patient ratio of 1:5
* Work on a 30-bed neuro medical/surgical unit
* Perform stroke NIH assessments, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care
* Utilize equipment including Welch Allyn vital sign monitors, COWs, Hoyer lift, PCA pumps, CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, and Teleneuro
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Required certifications: BLS, NIH
* Preferred certifications: ACLS
* Navy scrubs required
* Hoop nose piercings are not allowed
* Team-oriented and self-motivated personality preferred

This medical center operates a dedicated neuro medical/surgical unit with 30 beds and a staff of 60 healthcare professionals.
