CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Night shift position working Wednesday through Tuesday
* Weekday shift hours: 7:45 PM to 6:15 AM
* Weekend shift hours: 6:45 PM to 6:15 AM
* Work alongside other night technologists in a collaborative environment
* Operate GE CT scanners
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS
* Proficient in a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, vascular, musculoskeletal trauma, and more
* Experience with 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Ability to perform multiplanar reconstruction, brain perfusion, carotid, cervical, coronary CTA, and enterography studies
* Experience with preparation and administration of contrast media
* Proficient in starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture
* Radiation safety knowledge required
* PACS experience required
* Capable of treating patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Experience working in emergency department and ICU settings

Facility:

This facility is a large hospital featuring a robust imaging department equipped with GE CT scanners. With 240 beds and a daily census of 120 patients, the facility handles a high volume of cases across a wide range of specialties. The imaging department consists of 3 CT rooms and supports a diverse patient population spanning all age groups. The facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center and provides care across multiple settings including emergency, ICU, and outpatient services.
