Opportunity:

Radiation Therapy Technologist

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Day shift, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* No weekend coverage required
* No on-call requirements
* Block scheduling available
* Daily caseload of 14 patients per technologist
* Daily census of 55 patients with 55 visits per day
* 2 treatment rooms available
* Treat adult patient population with all cancer diagnoses
* Perform special procedures including SBRT, SRS, and HDR
* Operate Varian TrueBeam x2 machines, Gamma Med HDR, and RT Align equipment
* Work with on-site Radiation Oncologist, Physicist, and Dosimetry for real-time support
* Charting system: EPIC (preferred experience)
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT R, ARRT T, BLS, MD State License (pending accepted)
* Key skills required include IMRT, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, Respiratory Gating, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, TrueBeam, and Varis Vision/ARIA
* 1 pre-approved time off request permitted per contract

Facility:

This is a 327-bed teaching facility offering a comprehensive range of medical services. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and provides robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, transportation, and unit secretaries. The radiation oncology department is equipped with advanced technology and offers real-time support from on-site specialists.
