Opportunity:

RN - Vascular Access

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts
* Self-scheduling
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Up to 6 weekend shifts per contract if able
* Must have vascular access experience at a pediatric hospital
* Ultrasound-guided PIV placement experience required
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius required
* Inpatient experience preferred
* Emergency department experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Sonosite equipment experience required
* Performs PICC line and ultrasound-guided PIV placements
* Treats neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient populations
* Daily census ranges from 107 to 115 patients across 144 beds
* Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services and unit secretary
* Patient diagnoses include respiratory, sepsis, cardiac, surgery, and trauma
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
* Travel pairs allowed but generally will not be placed on the same unit
