CT Technologist

Job Details:

* 5x8 hour evening shifts, Monday through Friday
* Shift hours: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
* BLS certification required
* ARRT certification required (ARRT CT and ARRT R)
* Siemens experience required
* Procedural experience required
* Experience with iSTATs, Power Ports, and PPACs required
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and sinuses with and/or without contrast
* Perform advanced procedures including brain perfusion, coronary CTA, carotid studies, vascular chest imaging, and musculoskeletal trauma
* Perform procedural support including aspirations, biopsies, abscess drainages, and chest tube placements
* Operate Siemens 64 Definition Somatom AS and Siemens 128 x.cite equipment
* Perform 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Prepare and administer contrast media
* Start peripheral IVs and perform iSTAT creatinine testing (training available if necessary)
* Treat patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Work with patient diagnoses including cancer, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, stroke, and geriatric cases
* Apply radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions/PPE as required
* May be floated to other campus locations as needed
