RN - MS/Tele

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Float between 2 MS/Tele units where most needed
* Patient ratios of 1:4/5
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted
* Well-rounded travelers preferred; ICU/PCU experience a plus, strong MS/Tele experience considered
* Must be open to floating to all MS/Tele units without restrictions
* Work with standard med surg/tele equipment
* Liko lifts available in almost all patient rooms
* One telemetry unit uses bedside monitors; the other utilizes remote monitoring
* Charting system: Cerner (preferred)
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Free parking available
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact license required; may submit with pending license
* Required skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry, and starting and maintaining IVs

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility is a teaching hospital and Level IV trauma center with 87 total staffed beds. The facility supports a comprehensive range of patient care services and maintains high standards for quality and patient safety, including medication administration via BCMA. Staff have access to robust interdisciplinary support teams and modern medical equipment throughout the facility.
