Special Procedures Technologist
Job Details:
* Support interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, vascular, structural heart, and neuro specialties
* Block scheduling type with attempts made to schedule as consistently as possible
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* On-call requirement of 8 call days within a 4-week period with a 2-hour minimum callback
* 1 call weekend every 3-5 weeks covering Friday through Monday
* 24-hour on-call coverage required on Saturdays and Sundays
* Daily caseload of approximately 15 cases per day
* Float within cath lab unit as needed; no floating to sister facilities
* Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* 1 year of experience required
* Minimum of 7 days RTO restrictions
* Charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, State License
* Required skills include: angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, carotid angiography, embolization, endovascular interventions, EVAR, IABP placement/removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, rotablator atherectomy, scrub procedures, sterile technique, TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, upper and lower extremity angiography, and vascular, neuro, and cardiac experience
* Top procedures include structural heart (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), IR, neuro, vascular, cardiac, and EP
* Common equipment includes Philips imaging systems, Philips Xper hemo system, Philips IVUS/IFR/FFR, Boston IVUS/IFR/FFR, OCT, Roto, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave

This facility is a comprehensive healthcare organization housing a dedicated cath lab unit with 5 procedural rooms and 220 beds. The facility supports a high-acuity patient population across multiple specialties including interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, vascular, structural heart, and neurology. Robust interdisciplinary support services are available on-site, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more.
