Opportunity:

Med/Surg RN

Job Details:

* 4x12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (3x12 schedule will also be considered)
* Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
* Travel nursing experience required - first-time travelers will not be considered
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
* Telemetry experience preferred, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Parking is provided at no cost
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
* Block schedule may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics with diagnoses including CHF, COPD, CVA, diabetes, sepsis, pneumonia, orthopedic surgery, wound care, and more
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services

Facility:

This short-term acute care hospital operates with 97 total staffed beds and a 41-bed Med/Surg unit with a daily census of approximately 36 patients. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, phlebotomy, and social services.
