Pharmacist Inpatient Days

Job Details:

* Inpatient daytime pharmacist position with variable shift times
* Block scheduling type with 8 weekend shifts per contract (4 weekends)
* 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers welcome
* Must float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Serve patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 100 patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
* Required skills: anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, inpatient/acute care, IV push medications, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, Pyxis, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and Warfarin dosing
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PharmD, RPh, and Kansas state license all must be in hand at time of submission

This inpatient facility maintains a robust interdisciplinary support system including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and transportation. The facility serves a diverse patient population across all age groups and maintains a daily census of 100 patients, reflecting a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment.
