Job Details:

* Weekend overnight shifts: Friday 8:00 PM 8:00 AM, Saturday 8:00 PM 8:00 AM, Sunday 8:00 PM 8:00 AM
* Responsible for both CT and X-ray as the only tech working overnight
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Any color
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
* Required skills include: 3D rendering, CT abdomen/chest/head/pelvis without and/or with contrast, carotid, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, musculoskeletal trauma, multiplanar reconstruction, PACS, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, soft tissue neck, sinuses, venipuncture, vascular chest imaging (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), and trauma head
* Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility

Facility:

This short-term acute care teaching hospital operates with 59 total staff beds and 48 unit beds across 2 radiology rooms. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial support. Parking is provided at no cost to staff.
