Opportunity:

Level II NICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts on a 3x12 schedule
* Weekend coverage required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float to Baby Nurse as needed
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Charting experience required using Epic
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, NRP Advanced, STABLE
* Care for neonatal patients with diagnoses including hypoglycemia, hyperbilirubinemia, R/O sepsis, TTN, RDS, prematurity, and IUGR
* Perform skills including administration of blood and blood products, arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), and UAC/UVC management
* Operate special equipment including Bubble CPAP and High-Flow Nasal Cannula
* Experience with neonatal dosage calculations, phlebotomy, and IV placement and maintenance required
* 12 orientation hours required
