Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts with variable start times
* Float position requiring ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius
* Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
* Outpatient oncology experience required
* Travel experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS
* Preferred certifications: ACLS, APHON, Chemo (ONS/ONCC), CPHON, CPON, NIHSS, OCN, ONS/ONCC, PALS
* Preferred experience: Inpatient oncology, pediatric oncology, radiation oncology
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include genitourinary cancers, gynecological cancers, head and neck cancers, breast cancer, GI cancers, central nervous system cancers, and osteosarcomas
* Special procedures include HDR brachytherapy and Gamma knife radiosurgery
* Key skills include accessing/managing ports, monitoring chemotherapy, radiation safety precautions, IV push narcotic agents, wound care, and tracheostomy care
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
* 40 orientation hours required
