Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* 15-week contract for holiday coverage
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must be comfortable with and have exposure to post-partum care
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring
* Strong labor and delivery experience required including: cervical exams, antepartum and labors, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, and Pitocin administration
* Must be able to circulate C-sections
* Baby catching/receiving is required
* Must be proficient in APGAR scoring and have breastfeeding knowledge
* Post-partum care experience strongly preferred, covering all aspects from transition to discharge for both mom and baby
* Scrub experience is a bonus; scrub-trained RNs may be utilized for sick call coverage
* Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
* No on-call responsibilities
* Teal scrubs are provided
* Multilingual skills (Russian/Spanish) preferred

Facility:

This facility features a 20-bed obstetrics unit comprised of 12 labor and delivery beds and 8 post-partum and antepartum beds, including 3 OB/ED rooms and 2 operating rooms. The unit also includes a 6-bed Level II NICU, providing comprehensive care for mothers and newborns. A scrub technician is always on site and a nurse practitioner is available on call to support the clinical team.
