Open Position: RN - Stepdown

Opportunity:

PCU/Stepdown RN

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours long
* Shift hours are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Minimum of 18 months permanent Stepdown/PCU experience required
* Must have an active Ohio license or active compact state license in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS - must be active and in hand at time of submission
* ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation with a required passing score
* Maximum of 2 attempts allowed to pass required assessments
* One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required - references must be from assignments worked within the past 12 months

The PCU/Stepdown unit provides an intermediate level of care for patients who require closer monitoring than a general medical-surgical floor but do not need intensive care. The organization maintains high clinical standards and supports nursing staff with structured competency and education requirements throughout their contract.
