Opportunity:

CVOR Scrub Tech

Job Details:

* Work regular schedule Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Some Thursday call coverage required
* Monthly call rotation of approximately 10-12 call days per month
* Weekend call rotated among team members
* Must be able to report within established call-back response time
* 1:1 patient care ratio in the operating room
* Hospital provides scrubs
* Must participate in scheduled call rotation
* Must maintain competencies for cardiovascular surgical procedures
* Must be able to work independently in a high-acuity CVOR setting
* Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
* CVOR/Open Heart Surgery scrub experience required
* Experience with cardiac and vascular surgical procedures required
* Perform scrub technologist duties for procedures including Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Valve Repair and Replacement, TAVR Procedures, Aortic Aneurysm Repairs, Vascular Surgical Procedures, and Open Heart Surgery
* Work with cardiovascular surgical instrumentation, heart-lung bypass equipment, endoscopic vein harvesting equipment, cell saver, surgical microscopes, and specialty cardiovascular equipment

Facility:

This facility operates a dedicated Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) department providing high-acuity cardiac and vascular surgical services. The department supports a full range of complex cardiovascular procedures and maintains a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, registered nurses, certified surgical technologists, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, and surgical assistants. The facility provides scrubs and maintains a fully equipped CVOR environment with advanced cardiovascular surgical technology.
