Opportunity:

Echo Tech - Cardiac Ultrasound

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* 24-week assignment length
* Weekend availability required
* Call requirements to be discussed during interview
* Perform 75-80 echocardiograms per day, mostly portables
* Complete echocardiograms independently
* Work on the Non-Invasive Cardiology/Cardiac Ultrasound unit on the 2nd floor
* Operate Philips IE33 and Epiq CVX equipment
* Document using Meditech system
* Float as needed per facility floating policy
* Minimum 2+ years of hospital experience required
* Must have knowledge of anatomy and disease processes
* Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS, and active RCS or RDCS
* Preferred skills include TEE, stress echos, vascular, and pediatrics experience
* Meditech experience preferred
* Dress code: Sage tops and black bottoms scrubs required
* Nails must be clean and healthy
* Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
