Opportunity:

PT - Outpatient

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* No weekend rotation or on-call requirements
* Rehab department closes on 6 major holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
* See an average of 8-10 patients per day
* 60-minute bookings for evaluations and 45-minute treatment sessions
* Practice single patient care model
* Treat mostly adults and school-aged children (non-pediatric developmental diagnoses)
* Common diagnoses include post-ortho, post-spinal surgeries, geriatrics, work injuries, and neurological imbalance
* May float to a facility approximately 30 minutes away to cover outpatient or inpatient needs (inpatient is rare) with advance notice
* EMR system: Cerner
* Dress code: Business casual or any solid colored, professional scrubs
* Free parking available
* Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT experience required
* Required skills: manual therapy, exercise science, patient education, and education on adaptive equipment such as walkers, canes, and crutches
* Required credentials: ME State Licensure, BLS, Bachelor's in PT or above

Facility:

This is a Primary Care Clinic that also houses Outpatient Therapies, with the physical therapy department operating as its own distinct unit. The outpatient therapy team consists of 2 PTs and 1 PTA, with the PTA serving as the clinic supervisor. A rehab office coordinator handles scheduling of initial evaluations, while PTs manage follow-up scheduling. The department maintains a collaborative environment with a structured orientation process of 2-3 days based on skillset and comfort level.
