Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
* Floating to other units is required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Treat adult patients ages 18 and older
* Work in a 64-bed unit with 15 designated Neuro beds
* Common diagnoses include Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative patients
* Specialty equipment includes temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo
* Ventilator experience required - chronic vents with respiratory therapy support available for weaning
* Minimum 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience required
* Travel nursing experience required
* EMR experience with EPIC required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Intermediate Care Unit with 64 beds, including 15 specialized Neuro beds, providing high-acuity care to adult patients. The unit is equipped with advanced specialty equipment and supported by a multidisciplinary team including respiratory therapy, enabling the delivery of complex medical care across a wide range of diagnoses and conditions.
