Opportunity:
RN - PACU
Job Details:
* Minimum 3 years of PACU experience required
* Ambulatory Surgery Center experience required
* Charge Nurse experience required
* Active California RN license required at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* No weekend shifts required
* No floating required
* No on-call required
* Support ambulatory surgery center startup and operational setup
* Assist with AAAHC survey preparation and accreditation readiness
* Assist with regulatory compliance and policy/procedure development
* Assist the DON with quality program development and quality binders
* Apply strong administrative and project management skills
* Work independently and drive projects to completion
* Edit forms, documents, and policies
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required
* Knowledge of infection control and minor life safety required
* Clinical cases include approximately 10 trigger finger procedures, pain management, or minor orthopedic procedures performed under local anesthesia
* Expected to work with GE patient monitor, glucometer, bladder scanner, and 12-lead EKG equipment
* Patient population: adults
* Patient ratio: 1:1 during day shifts
* 16 orientation hours provided

This ambulatory surgery center is in the startup and operational setup phase, offering a unique opportunity to play an integral role in building and shaping a new healthcare facility. The center will focus on orthopedic procedures, total joint procedures, pain management, and spine procedures, supported by interdisciplinary services including interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy. The facility maintains a patient-centered approach with modern medical equipment and a focus on regulatory compliance and quality care standards.
