Job Details:

* Block scheduling type with 33 patient ratios during days and 7 during nights and weekends
* Must be available to work major holidays
* Weekend availability required
* On-call required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* At least 1 year of travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* Special equipment experience required: Steris Washers, ultrasonic and autoclaves, ASP low temp NX100's, and SPM instrument tracking software
* Experience working with Evotech (ASP) systems required
* Required skills include: Acute Hospital OR, cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps), high-level disinfection, use of washers/sterilizers, case cart, proper selection of wrapping materials, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/trays assembly, equipment documentation, and experience across specialties including Ear/Nose/Throat, General, Orthopedics, Plastics, and Urology
* Knowledge of biological indicators, chemical indicators, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS) required
* Maximum pre-approved time off of one period per contract
* Restricted time off - 7 day RTO restriction
* 20 orientation hours required
