Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with holiday rotation
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus
* Floating to sister facilities is required
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required, first-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap SPT required
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* National certification required: CBSPD and/or HSPA (IAHCSMM/HSPA, SBSPD also accepted)
* BLS not required
* Travel experience required
* Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Parking cost: Nights and weekends only one-time payment of $20 for parking pass
* Skills required include: sterilization wrapping procedures, high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, sets/trays assembly, scope/probe reprocessing, biological and chemical indicators, use of washers/sterilizers, and equipment documentation
* Must be comfortable working with patient age groups including infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* All requested time off must be provided at time of submission no RTO will be approved after contract is signed
