Opportunity:
RN - Pediatric Oncology
Job Details:
* 12-hour night shifts
* Weekend coverage required
* Must be able to float to other UCSF facilities within a 75+ mile radius
* Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Oncology or Inpatient Oncology experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Patient ratio experience of 4 patients
* Epic charting system experience required
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, PALS
* Preferred certifications: APHON, Chemo (ONS/ONCC)
* Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
* Epic experience preferred
* Patient population includes neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, and adults
* Patient diagnoses include Hem/Onc/BMT and medical overflow
* Key skills include administration of chemotherapy, central line care, port access and management, IV push administration, PCA pump management, blood product administration, neutropenic precautions, and pediatric oncology care
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
* All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal and cannot be within the first two weeks of start
