Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3024.80

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts with variable start times
* Ability to float to other UCSF facilities within a 75+ mile radius
* Patient ratios: 2:1 days and weekends, 3:1 nights
* Outpatient surgery center setting focusing on same-day procedures (excluding ortho and cardiac)
* Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of approximately 50 patients
* Must be proficient in airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management
* Must be able to work in preoperative and extended care units
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Standard hospital equipment utilized
* Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services and pharmacy
* 5 years of nursing experience required
* 3 years of PACU experience required
* Travel experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* 2 years of critical care experience preferred
* BSN required
* California RN license required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Preferred certifications: CCRN or CPAN
* Key skills include: Phase I PACU, arterial line management, IV vasopressors, central line care and management, starting and maintaining IVs, phlebotomy, and obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
* 40 orientation hours required
