Open Position: RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech

Radiology/IR Tech

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* On-call required for nights and weekends
* Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract period
* Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
* Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
* Trauma Level I experience required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R, ARRT VI
* Performs interventional radiology and special procedures including adrenal angiography, angioplasty, embolization, carotid angiography, stent placement, central venous access and port placement, dialysis graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and upper and lower extremity angiography
* Performs TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt), vertebroplasty, chemoembolization, and PICC line care and maintenance
* Utilizes Siemens equipment and PACS systems
* Experience with Stroke, Body IR, and Neuro IR required
* Responsible for equipment setup, prep of access site, room circulating, maintaining equipment and inventory, and stocking supplies
* Adheres to sterile technique and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
* Patients served include adults and geriatric populations
