Opportunity:
RN - Pediatric Cath Lab
Job Details:
* 15-week contract
* Minimum 2 years of experience required with prior pediatric cath lab experience required
* First-time travelers will not be accepted
* Required certifications and licenses: BLS, PALS, RCIS and/or ARRT, current WA state Rad Tech and/or CISC license
* Work with pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional cases including LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, congenital structure stenting/ballooning, and collateral closure
* Work with pediatric electrophysiology cases including pacemaker implant/generator exchanges, loop recorder implant/removals, EP study with radiofrequency ablations for SVT, WPW, atrial tach, and PVC
* Function as circulator and patient monitor with sedation needs provided by anesthesia
* Preferred monitoring experience: PACS (Picom), Hemodynamic (Merge), C-arm (Siemens Artis)
* EMR: EPIC Cupid experience preferred
* No floating required
* Weekend rotation: call only, 1-2 weekends per month (anticipated every 3rd week)
* On-call schedule: 7 call shifts (including weekends) in a 3-week rotation; weekday call runs from end of shift to 7:00 AM the following day; weekend call runs from end of shift Friday to 7:00 AM Monday
* 45-minute response time required for on-call; no sleep room available
* Holiday expectations: call only, included in department call rotation
* Scrubs and lead provided by facility; note that extended sizing is available for scrubs but not for lead
