Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with holiday rotation
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to CSC, Main, or West Campus to meet facility needs
* Floating to sister facilities is required
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Travel experience required
* Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap required
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA (IAHCSMM)
* BLS not required
* Required skills include: Aseptic technique, high-level disinfection, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/trays assembly, sterilization wrapping procedures, use of washers/sterilizers, laparoscopic, robotics, orthopedics, neurology, OB/GYN, and cardiac procedures
* Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
* All requested time off must be provided at time of submission; no RTO will be approved after contract is signed

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 staffed beds. The facility maintains high standards for sterile processing and supports a robust surgical program that includes neuro, robotics, transplant, and orthopedic cases, among others.
