Opportunity:

Job Details:

* Night shift position with variable weekend coverage required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 4 weekend shifts per contract required
* Required certification: BLS (AHA only)
* Cerner charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
* Unit consists of 27 rooms and 34 beds
* Perform and manage a wide range of clinical skills including accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draws, PICC line management, and peripheral line care
* Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management preferred
* Manage patients with post-op joint replacement, post-op weight loss management surgery, and post-op general surgery
* Handle medical non-monitored patient diagnoses
* Experience with wound care/wound vac, tracheostomy care, and surgical drains preferred
* Support interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Must be willing to float within the hospital as needed
* Must be available to work every other holiday
