Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

* 48-hour weekly guarantee
* Every other weekend schedule required
* No on-call responsibilities
* 8, 10, or 13 week contracts available
* EMR: EPIC
* Historical patient ratio of 1:7 with travel staff helping to improve this ratio
* 2 years of previous stepdown experience required
* At least 1 travel contract completed preferred
* Illinois state license required; Iowa license required upon offer
* Required equipment and clinical skills: chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
* Required medication experience: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban with some titration required
* May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
* Driver's license required
* Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
* 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
* Local candidates are eligible to apply
