Job Details:

* Night shift schedule consisting of 2x12-hour shifts and 2x8-hour shifts for 40-hour weeks
* Possibility for day shifts available
* Ability to float to other UCSF facilities and campuses within a 75+ mile radius
* Minimum 3 years of pediatric operating room experience required
* Scrub experience preferred
* Cardiac circulating experience preferred
* Ambulatory OR experience preferred
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Experience with Epic charting system required
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics
* Surgical services include neurology, ortho/spine, otolaryngology, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, dental, cardiac, general surgery, GI, and hem/onc
* 1-6 weekend shifts per contract
* BSN required
* Active California RN license required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, PALS
* CNOR preferred

Facility:

This children's hospital operating room consists of 11 surgical suites and 2 procedural rooms with a primary focus on a multidisciplinary team-based approach to staffing and patient care. The facility provides a wide range of surgical services and is recognized as a teaching hospital, offering a comprehensive and collaborative environment for healthcare professionals. Resources may be reassigned to different departments, units, or facilities as needed based on job qualifications.
