Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* No on-call requirements
* Weekend requirement of up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
* Must be available to work at least one holiday period: Christmas (December 24?26) or New Year's (December 31?January 1)
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to equal one shift
* Block scheduling available upon manager approval based on unit needs
* 2 years of OR RN experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred
* RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, operating within a busy, dynamic, nurse-driven department that provides cutting-edge technology to patients throughout the region.
