Opportunity:

ICU RN

Job Details:

* Rotating shifts or straight nights available
* Weekend coverage required
* Patient ratios of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 22-bed ICU unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Cerner charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only accepted)
* Active PA or Compact license required
* Must be willing to float within the hospital as needed
* Must be willing to float to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
* Must be available to work every other holiday
* Required skills include: arterial line management, ventilator management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, blood product administration, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, pulmonary artery/Swan-Ganz monitoring, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula management, IV insulin protocols, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, CVA/acute stroke management, pulmonary embolism care, and obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, social services, and phlebotomy

This facility operates a 22-bed intensive care unit providing comprehensive critical care services to adult and geriatric patients. The unit is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries. The facility utilizes Cerner as its charting system and maintains a strong commitment to high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
