Opportunity:
Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient
Job Details:
* 1:1 patient caseload with 10-12 patients per day
* Treat patients across all age groups from newborn to geriatrics including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Work primarily in outpatient pediatrics and outpatient adult settings with cross-training opportunities in acute care hospital setting
* Diagnoses include autism spectrum disorder, speech delays, expressive/receptive speech language disorders, sensory disorders, feeding and food aversions, TBI, CVA, Parkinson's, Bell's Palsy, Di George's Syndrome, and swallowing dysfunctions
* Perform modified barium swallow studies (inpatient and outpatient) and bedside swallow evaluations for inpatient care
* Work with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and interpretation services
* Block scheduling type
* Meditech charting system experience preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
* ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
* Oklahoma state license or compact license required
* BLS certification for healthcare providers required
* Local candidates not considered; must be outside 45-mile radius
* Travel pairs allowed
* References can be pending at time of submission
