RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* 15-week contract for winter planning
* Option for 48-hour guaranteed hours per week
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must be comfortable with and have exposure to post-partum care
* Must be able to perform cervical exams, antepartum and labor care, amnio infusions, epidural assistance, fetal monitoring, IVs, and Pitocin administration
* Must be able to circulate C-sections
* Baby catching/receiving required
* APGAR scoring required
* Breastfeeding knowledge required
* Strong post-partum experience strongly preferred, including all aspects of care from transition to discharge for mom and baby
* Scrub experience is a bonus; scrub-trained RNs occasionally used for sick call coverage
* EMR: Epic strongly preferred
* No on-call responsibilities
* Teal scrubs provided
* Multilingual skills in Russian or Spanish preferred
* First-time travelers will be considered
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring

Facility:

This facility features a 20-bed obstetrics unit including 12 labor and delivery beds, 8 post-partum and antepartum beds, 3 OB/ED rooms, and 2 operating rooms. The unit also includes a 6-bed Level II NICU, providing comprehensive care for mothers and newborns. A Nurse Practitioner is available on call and a Scrub Tech is always on site to support the care team.
