Opportunity:

RN - LABOR AND DELIVERY OB/ED

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekends with alternating weekend schedule
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:3
* Work on a 8-bed Labor and Delivery unit located on the 4th floor
* Unit staffing consists of 1 charge nurse and 2-3 RNs per shift
* Perform procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
* Operate equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and Ultrasound
* Use Meditech/CPN EMR system
* Minimum 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and intermediate fetal monitoring
* Required competencies: EFM, SVE competency, and C-section circulation
* Internal monitor placement competency preferred
* Previous HCA assignment or employment preferred
* Experience in a Level IV high volume unit preferred
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only - t-shirts are not acceptable
