Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* 3 call shifts required within every 2-week period
* Call shift hours Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend call required every 6 weeks: Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
* 3 rooms available with an average daily census of 15 patients
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Work in a cardiac intervention radiology room with structural heart
* No scrubbing required
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Minimum 3 years of experience required (hard stop)
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
* Pre-approved time off limited to no more than 7 days
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS, Fluoro Permit, CA CRRT State License, BLS
* California CLS license must be in hand at time of submission (hard stop)
* Required skills include: angiography, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, cardiac implant closure device, catheter/drain exchange, central venous access, chest tube placement, diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, endovascular interventions, fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, IVC filter placement and removal, left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), PTCA, permanent pacemaker insertion, TAVR, TIPS, and additional interventional radiology procedures

Facility:

This facility is a cardiac intervention and interventional radiology center specializing in structural heart procedures. The unit features 3 procedure rooms and offers a comprehensive range of advanced cardiovascular and interventional radiology services. Interdisciplinary support is available through IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.
