RN - ED

Job Details:

* Work 36 hours per week in the Emergency Department
* Unit located on the 1st floor of the main building
* 19-bed unit plus a 4-bed psychiatric pod
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Day and night shift unit secretaries available
* Monday through Friday day and night shift technicians scheduled
* Documentation completed using Meditech system
* Equipment includes Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and Lifepak defibrillator
* May be floated to psych pod or another system emergency department location
* Strong sepsis and stroke skillsets required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, and active RN license
* Required dress code: Navy scrubs

This emergency department is both chest pain and stroke certified, reflecting a strong commitment to specialized cardiac and neurological emergency care. The facility features an experienced staff, many of whom have been with the organization for 5 to 20 or more years, fostering excellent provider and nurse relations. The unit also offers tele-psych services and utilizes modern equipment and technology to support high-quality patient outcomes.
